Different Options for Window Graphics

There are 4 types of window graphics option in Toronto to choose from: cut vinyl, perforated, frosted or decorative and opaque. Each has its own unique characteristics and depending on the purpose of installing window signs & graphics, one may be more optimal than another. The same window graphics can also be used for internal signage.

Cut Vinyl Window Graphics

This economical option can make a storefront window ‘pop’ when the graphics is designed well. Cut vinyl graphics generally do not cover the full window, allowing for natural light to enter.

Perforated Window Graphics

Perforated window graphics allow patrons to see out the window from the inside. The vinyl has small holes which allows sunlight to enter and also makes it difficult for people from the outside look in. This type of window graphics has to be installed on the outside and requires at least 10 degrees Celsius before it can be installed.

Frosted or Decorative Vinyl Window Graphics

Typically installed on the inside, frosted or decorative vinyl creates an etched glass look. Like the perforated vinyl graphics, it provides some privacy but still allowing light to pass through.

Opaque Vinyl Window Graphics

Opaque vinyl window graphics can be installed either on the inside or outside. This type of vinyl graphics block all light and cannot be seen through. Ideal for stores that requires privacy.
